Njiko Help & Support

Need help with Njiko? Find answers to common questions about your account, identity verification, subscriptions, privacy and safety.

Account & Password

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?+
If you cannot access your Njiko account, contact management@hitbridge.org for assistance. For your security, never email your password, verification codes or identity documents.

Email, Phone & Identity Verification

How does identity verification work?+
After registration, Njiko asks you to verify your email address and phone number using verification codes. You must also complete identity and age verification through Sumsub using a supported government-issued identity document and a live facial verification check. Before starting the identity-verification process, Njiko requests separate, affirmative consent for identity and biometric verification. You can decline or cancel before verification begins, but successful verification is required to access Njiko's matching features.Identity verification helps reduce impersonation and underage access, but it does not guarantee another member's identity, intentions or safety. You can check your verification progress through the verification status feature in the application.

Njiko Plus Subscriptions

How do I restore my Njiko Plus subscription?+
If you have purchased Njiko Plus, open the subscription section in the Njiko app and select "Restore purchases", where available.Use the same Apple App Store or Google Play account used for the original purchase.Subscription availability and restoration options depend on your device, store and the released version of Njiko.
How do I cancel my Njiko Plus subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed by the store where you originally purchased them.On iPhone: Open Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Njiko → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Njiko → Cancel subscription.Deleting your Njiko account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Safety, Reporting & Blocking

How do I report or block another user?+
From a Discovery profile, open the menu in the top-right corner and select "Report profile" or "Block user".From an existing conversation, open the top-right menu and select "Report conversation" or "Block user".Blocking prevents further interaction and removes the user from your normal discovery and messaging experience.

Account Deletion

How do I delete my Njiko account?+
Open Njiko and navigate to Profile → Settings → Delete account.Select "Deactivate and schedule deletion" and confirm your request.Your account will be deactivated immediately and your active sessions will end.A cooling-off period, currently set to 14 days, allows you to sign back in and restore your account before the deletion deadline. After the deadline, restoration is no longer available. Your account becomes eligible for final deletion processing, which may take place after the deadline or require retries. Some information may be deleted, pseudonymised or retained as explained in the Njiko Privacy Policy.Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel any active subscription separately.
